RNA - The US-led collation fighter jets bombed again several residential areas in the ISIL-held city of Raqqa, killing and wounding a number of civilians, field sources confirmed on Wednesday.
Raqqa
The sources said that eights civilians were killed and several more were wounded in the US warplanes' raids on Raqqa neighborhoods.
The sources further said that death toll is likely to increase due to the critical conditions of some of those injured in the air assault.
It came only a day after 10 civilians, including six men and four women, lost their lives in US-led air attacks against residential neighborhoods of Raqqa.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the victims were all members of an internally displaced family from the ancient city of Palmyra.
Homs
The Syrian Army troops imposed full control over four small by strategic towns in Northeastern Homs following heavy fighting with ISIL on Wednesday.
The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL and pushed them back from the towns of Hadaj, Rasm Zeinab, Tahmaz and Bir Qazaleh near Sahl al-Sawaneh region.
The ISIL suffered heavy casualties and its military hardware sustained major damage in the attack.
Also in the past 24 hours, gunmen in a sum of 24 towns and villages laid down their weapons and endorsed peace with the Syrian Army with the help of the Russian Coordination Center in Humeimim base, the Syrian state agency reported.
The Arabic-language SANA reported that militants in 24 towns and villages in Eastern and Western Homs ended battle against the army under the nationwide peace plan in Syria and following a meeting with elites of a number of villages and towns held by Russia's Coordination Center in Humeimim military base.
Hasaka
Nearly 40 civilians were killed or wounded in landmine blasts in Southern Hasaka, local sources reported Wednesday.
The sources said that a number of civilians that had fled ISIL-held terrorists in Deir Ezzur were trapped in a vast landmine field planted by the ISIL in Abu Khashab region in the Southern territories of Hasaka province.
They added that 10 civilians were killed and 28 more were wounded in the blasts.
In relevant developments in the province a number of civilians were killed in the US-led fighter jets' attacks on regions in the Southern parts of Hasaka.
The US warplanes pounded the village of Kashkash in the Southern parts of al-Shadadi city in Southern Hasaka, killing 6 civilians, including 2 women.
Aleppo
A number of fighters affiliated to the Turkish Army were killed and wounded in sporadic clashes with Kurdish units of the SDF in Northern Aleppo on Wednesday.
The Kurdish-language Hawar news agency reported that the Turkish army and their affiliated militants intensified their movements in a region between the town of Mare'a and the village of Harbal near al-Shahba and shelled the villages in the area.
The news agency further added that artillery units of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) the Turkey-backed militants' positions and movements in response to their assaults, destroying three tanks and killing four.
Also, the Turkey-backed militants' mortar units opened heavy fire on the villages of Mar'anaz, Shawarqah and Ein Daqnah, added the report.
Hama
The Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL's defense lines heavily in Eastern Hama on Wednesday, extending the range of their advances in two more regions and tightening the noose on ISIL terrorists.
The army men managed to take back the village of Jubb al-Abyadh and the town of Tayebeh Dakij East of the town of al-Salamiyah after they pushed terrorists back from the town of al-Tayebeh.
Also, the Russian and Syrian fighter jets pounded ISIL's movements and positions in the regions of Akash, Um Meil, Abu Jabilat, Aqayrabat, Northern al-Qastal, Southern al-Qastal and Central al-Qastal om Eastern Hama, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists.
Field sources, meantime, reported that ISIL has transferred a number of its militants to Northern and Southern al-Qastal regions to kill any chances for defection or surrender to the army by militants.
Damascus
The Syrian Army troops hit the defense lines of the Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) in Eastern Ghouta on Wednesday, imposing control over more bunkers and tunnels of the terrorists.
The army men engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra in Ein Terma region and seized control over several large bunkers and long network of tunnels in the depth of terrorist-held territories.
Also, the army soldiers, backed up by artillery and missile units' heavy fire, captured several buildings overlooking terrorists' positons.
The army units inflicted major casualties on the Al-Nusra in the assault.
Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian Army troops engaged in tough battle with terrorists South-East of Damascus province and captured several checkpoints along the border with Jordan.
The army men pushed terrorists back from checkpoints 165 to 169 in Southeastern Damascus at the border with Jordan.
The terrorists left behind a number of dead members and retreated from the battlefield towards East.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army troops fortified their positions along a highway connecting the town of al-Sukhnah in Eastern Homs to Deir Ezzur, while their allied popular forces continued to advance against ISIL in their push towards Deir Ezzur, a field source reported Wednesday.
The source said that the army troops have approached the border between the Homs and Deir Ezzur provinces and deployed at a distance 70km away from Brigade 137 base in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur after their recent rapid advances along the al-Sukhnah-Deir Ezzur road.
The source further said that the army has captured several points East of Tal (hill) SyriaTel along the al-Sukhnah-Deir Ezzur highway.
The source went on to say that army's control over Mount Zahak al-Sharqi along the al-Sukhnah-Deir Ezzur highway has played a significant role in fortifying the newly-captured positions along the highway.
The army troops' further advance along the highway will take them to the first town in Deir Ezzur province, Kabajeb.
Also in the past 24 hours, the ISIL terrorist group has tightened security controls to stop the trend of its members' fleeing from the battlefield as the Syrian Army continues to advance against the terrorist group in the provinces of Homs, Hama and Raqqa in their push towards Deir Ezzur, an Arab media outlet reported.
The Arabic-language al-Hadath news reported that ISIL has arrested 30 of its militants in the town of Albu Kamal in Southeastern Deir Ezzur on charges of fleeing the battlefield.
Al-Hadath further said that ISIL has set up more checkpoints in Albu Kamal after the recent advances of the army towards Deir Ezzur caused militants to escape the battlefront.
Al-Hadath also said that the army units engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in Panorama region and managed to advance 600m against terrorists towards the al-Azm housings.
Also on Wednesday, the Syrian Army troops and Air Force struck ISIL's defense lines and positions in Deir Ezzur city and its outskirts, destroying their positions and command centers and killing or wounding a number of militants.
The army soldiers stormed ISIL's positions in the village of al-Baqaliyeh, al-Roshdiyeh neighborhood, al-Maqaber (cemetery) region and around Deir Ezzur's airbase, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.
Also, the army aircraft pounded ISIL's positions in Panorama region, al-Thardah mountain, airbase, al-Maqaber, Huweija Sakar region and al-Roshdiyeh and Huweiqa neighborhoods, destroying several command centers and positions and killing a number of terrorists.
The army's artillery units and fighter jets further targeted ISIL's movements in the villages of al-Hassan, al-Janinieh, Ayyash, al-Khariteh, al-Torayf and Ein Bu Jom'eh, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists.
