
RNA - The terrorists in Deir Ezzur province sustained heavy losses in tough battle with the Syrian army.
The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army troops managed to advance against ISIL terrorists in Homs' Badiyeh (desert) and entered Southern border territories of Deir Ezzur with Eastern Homs, a military source said Tuesday.
The source said that the army forces have gained full control over Humeimeh region and entered the Southern borders of Deir Ezzur, adding that the recent advance will pave the way for the pro-government forces to move towards the town of Albu Kamal in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
In the meantime, the army men have reached al-Doweikhiliyeh region East of Humeimeh and are to move towards T-2 pumping station that is one of the main strongholds of the ISIL in region, the source went on to say.
The source further said that the Southern part of Homs' Badiyeh is considered as the first and the main operational flank of the army towards Deir Ezzur, adding that the second flank stretches from the Southern part of Raqqa province and the third own is al-Sukhnah region in Eastern Homs and Eastern territories of Hama province.
Relevant reports said that the army troops stormed ISIL's defense lines in the depth of Badiyeh (desert) and drove terrorists out of the strategic town of Humeimeh at provincial border with Deir Ezzur.
The army forces pushed ISIL back from the entire neighborhoods of the town of Humeimeh following their advances against terrorists in the Southern and Central part of the town located in provincial border of Homs and Deir Ezzur.
The army's engineering units started to defused bombs and landmines planted by the ISIL in the town as soon as they took the town back.
Homs-Hama
The Syrian Army forces continued their advances against the ISIL terrorists in the provinces of Homs and Hama on Tuesday, imposing control over more key regions in the Central part of the war-hit country.
The army soldiers pushed ISIL back from its positions in Jabal (mount) al-Mazar South of al-Koum region after hours of non-stop clashes.
In the meantime, a military source said that the army men in al-Sukhnah deployed only 17km far from their comrades that are battling ISIL from al-Tayebeh direction after the pro-government forces captured Jabal al-Mazar.
Also, other units of the army attacked ISIL's defense lines West of Mount al-Sha'er and took control of the village of al-Ebadiyeh Southwest of Huweisis in Eastern Homs.
Meantime, the army units took back several heights and hills overlooking the village of Salba, imposing control over the region.
The ISIL suffered heavy casualties and its military hardware sustained major damage in the army operations in Hama and Homs.

Syria-Lebanon Border
The Lebanese Army troops managed to make fresh gains in the third phase of Fajr (Dawn of) al-Jaroud operation in the mountainous regions at the border with Syria, inflicting major losses on the ISIL terrorists on Tuesday.
The army soldiers pushed ISIL back from Ra'as al-Kaf region and Qarna Sha'aba al-Washal in Ra'as Ba'albak heights after hours of fierce clashes with terrorists.
The army's artillery and missile units pounded the remaining positions of ISIL in Ra'as Ba'albak and al-Qa'a heights.
In the meantime, the Lebanese soldiers imposed control over al-Kahaf region, one of the most important bases of ISIL in border heights and advanced towards the remaining ISIL-held heights in Ra'a Ba'albak.
A military source reported earlier on Tuesday that notorious ISIL Commander Basel Abdel Kader has been captured in the Lebanese Army troops' Fajr (Dawn of) al-Jaroud operations on the heights along the border with Syria.
The source reported that the Lebanese military intelligence units have captured a senior ISIL member responsible for an assault on the country’s troops in 2014 at Syria's border.
"The military intelligence has detained Basel Abdel Kader, a Syrian national, in Wadi al-Araneb in Arsal … (he was) in charge of security (affairs) in ISIL," the source said, adding that the terrorist was responsible for the attack on a military base in Arsal area in 2014 when the ISIL militants kidnapped several Lebanese servicemen whose fate is still unknown.
