RNA - "The Islamic Republic's priority has always been and will be confrontation against the Zionist regime's occupation (of other countries)," Jaberi Ansari said, addressing leaders of the Lebanese parties in Beirut on Tuesday.

He underscored the need for redesigning the regional nations' priorities, and said, "Continued conflicts merely benefit the Zionist regime and extremist terrorists and Takfiri streams."

Noting that Iran's clear policy is non-interference in the regional countries' conflicts and differences, Jaberi Ansari said that the only way to come out of the regional crises and problems is agreement and understanding among them.

In relevant remarks in July, Iran's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Eshaq Ale'habib underlined that all the crises in the Middle East emanate from Israel and its allies.

"Numerous assaults on the Palestinian land and repeated violations of the UN resolutions by the Zionist regime make the regime as main source of all crises in the Middle East," Ale'habib said, addressing a meeting of the UN Security Council.

Al-Habib said since 1948, the Zionist regime has invaded its neighbors 14 times and suppressed the Palestinians violently with the support of the US; the recent prohibition on Palestinians entry to al-Aqsa Mosque is an instance of illegal measures taken by the Zionists.

Referring to violation of many UN resolutions by the Zionists, Ale'habib said there is a lot of evidence concerning Zionists' aggressive policies, apartheid, and war crimes in the reports of the United Nations.

He said that settlement construction for the Zionists in the Occupied Territories is violation of Geneva's Fourth Convention, adding the routine of the Zionist regime shows that it has never been looking for peace and has participated in the negotiations to buy time to follow its expansionism and aggression.
