Rasa - The Syrian army continued its advances in Homs, and captured more strategic regions in the province.

RNA - The army units drove the ISIL terrorists out of key areas and their surrounding areas in Homs province.

 

The Syrian troops inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in fierce clashes over controlling of strategic regions. They also destroyed military equipment of the terrorists.

 

The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army troops continued to hit ISIL's defense lines in Eastern Homs and entered the key town of Humeimeh from several directions on Saturday.

 

The army soldiers managed to prevail over terrorists' defense lines and entered the town of Humeimeh from the Southern and Central directions, inflicting heavy casualties on the militants.

 

Field reports said that the army units are advancing against ISIL in the Northern part of the town.

 

Earlier reports said that the army troops captured a strategic region, including several heights and hills, in their advances towards T-2 pumping station after hours of non-stop clashes with ISIL terrorists.

 

The army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL and pushed them back from several heights and hills overlooking the town of Humeimeh in Eastern Homs.

 

The army units inflicted major casualties on ISIL and seized control of Humeimeh.

 

In the meantime, the army soldiers repelled ISIL's attack from the villages of Unq al-Hawa and Rahoum on the pro-government forces' positions in Jubb al-Jarah and Maksar al-Hassan.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Russian Air Force targeted a number of ISIL positions in the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur and its outskirts on Saturday, destroying a large depot of arms and ammunition in the city's districts.

 

The warplanes bombed heavily ISIL's positions in Civil Defense region North of al-Mufti Grand Mosque in Deir Ezzur city, destroying a large weapons and munitions depot of the terrorists.

 

The fighter jets, later, targeted ISIL's defense lines in Jonayd division base, Tal (hill) Aloush, Tal Milad in the Southwestern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city.

 

The Russian army aircraft further struck al-Rabi'at region South of Panorama region, and the two regions of al-Maqaber (cemetery) and al-Khazanat Southwest of Tamin brigade base.

 

Meantime, tens of terrorists were killed or wounded after a long convoy of ISlL's vehicles reportedly came under attack by the Russian air force en route from Western Deir Ezzur to the South-East of Raqqa province, well-informed sources said Saturday.

 

The sources reported that the fighter jets that bombed ISIL's military convoy were possibly from the Russian Air Force, adding that the convoy left Western Deir Ezzur for the town of Ma'adan and the Southern bank of the Euphrates River in Raqqa province, the last stronghold of ISIL in South-East Raqqa.

 

The sources added that ISIL tried to provide support for the terrorists that are in tough battle with the Syrian pro-government forces in Ma'adan.

 

The fighter jets hit ISIL's military column hard, leaving tens of terrorists dead or wounded and a number of their vehicles destroyed.

 

The Syrian army units have laid siege on ISIL in Ma'adan from the Western and Southern directions.

 

Syria-Lebanon Border

 

The Syrian Army troops and the Lebanese Hezbollah combatants on Saturday pushed the ISIL terrorists back from five more strategic regions in al-Jarajeer and Qareh heights after inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

The army men and Hezbollah fighters, backed up by artillery units' heavy fires, continued their advances and imposed control over Wadi Mas'oud, Wadi Abu Khazir heights in al-Jarajeer.

 

In the meantime, the Syrian pro-government forces tool control of Sho'aba Sarour, Qabr al-Asrali and Khirbet al-Eileh regions in Qareh heights after hours of heavy fighting with ISIL.

 

The army and Hezbollah further advanced against ISIL-held regions in al-Arqoub region and Rabiyeh (hill) al-Nahash in Qareh heights.

 

The Syrian government forces, meantime, advanced toward the strategic Halmat Qareh region at the border with Lebanon.
