Rasa - Bahrain Forum for Human Rights (BFHR) said that the Bahraini authorities are making use of their foreign rifts with Qatar to pervert justice and bring malicious charges against former Al-Wefaq leader Sheikh Hassan Isa, through leaking forged documents that haven't been raised earlier.

RNA - BFHR added in a statement that the presented forged documents were not previously mentioned in the indictment list or the prosecution's evidence. It added that the documents date back to before February 14, 2011 incidents, when Sheikh Isa was a deputy, Bahrain Mirror reported.

It further stated "the trial and documents show the lack of serious inquiries, especially that the investigative officer information were vague and incomplete and cannot verify the certainty of incriminating evidence."

Bahrain Forum for Human Rights concluded saying that "the Bahraini authorities have resorted more than once to take advantage of their foreign rfits in fabricating number of malicious charges against activists and citizens because of their political opposing views, in order to pervert justice and defame the image of opposition, political activists and human rights defenders."
