Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Syrian army soldiers repelled terrorists' attack on their positions in Deir Ezzur province after hours of clashes, inflicting major losses on them.
Syrian Army Forces

RNA - The ISIL terrorists' attacks to capture the government forces' positions in the Eastern parts of Deir Ezzur province were fended off by the strong defense of the Syrian military men.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Homs, over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in other provinces across Syria.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army troops, backed up by the country's Air Force, warded off ISIL's attacks in the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

The army men engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL that had attacked the pro-government forces' positions from the village of al-Baqaliyeh and repelled their offensive after hours of clashes.

 

The army soldiers also exchanged fire with ISIL in al-Maqaber (cemetery) region, around Regiment 137 base and Deir Ezzur base.

 

In the meantime, the fighter jets bombed heavily ISIL's positions and movements in al-Sina'ah neighborhood, around Tal (hill) Alloush, power company in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city and the village of al-Jafrah South-East of the city, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists.

 

Local sources reported that Abu Mohammad Khorsani, a notorious commander of ISIL, has fled following the terrorist groups' defeats in battle.

 

Earlier reports said that the army men engaged in heavy fighting with ISIL in al-Maqaber region, Panorama base, Deir Ezzur base and al-Baqaliyeh.

 

In the meantime, the warplanes bombed heavily ISIL's positions in Panorama, al-Ma'amel region, Jonayd Division base, Tamin Brigade base, power company, the neighborhoods of al-Omal and al-Hamidiyeh and the villages of al-Tabni, al-Shamitiyeh and al-Boytiyeh.

 

A large number of ISIL terrorists were killed or wounded and several military vehicles, and a large volume of their equipment were destroyed in the attacks. 

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army troops hit ISIL's defense lines hard in Eastern Homs and imposed full control over a key village on Monday.

 

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL South-East of Jubb al-Jarah region and pushed the terrorists back from the village of Manoukh Northeast of Jubab Hamd region.

 

In the meantime, the army's missile units and aircraft pounded ISIL's positions in the battlefield, destroying several military vehicles and killing a number of their crew.

 

Earlier reports said that the army aircraft launched repeated air assaults on ISIL's movements and concentration centers in the towns and villages of Um Sahriaj, East of al-Tayebeh, Toweinan and Humeimeh near Deir Ezzur's provincial border with Homs, destroying several command centers, vehicles and military equipment of the terrorists.

 

Also, the warplanes targeted ISIL's gathering centers in the villages of al-Khashabiyeh, al-Fasedeh, Abu Habilat, Jani al-Bawi, al-Dakileh Shomali and Salba in Eastern Hama.

 

Meantime, a military source said that a large number of terrorists were killed and several command centers and military vehicles of ISIL were destroyed in the attacks.

 

Raqqa

 

The Syrian Army troops stormed ISIL's defense lines in the Southeastern part of Raqqa province and managed to deploy close to the town of Ma'adan, the last stronghold of ISIL before Deir Ezzur's border, a field source said Monday.

 

The army soldiers continued to hit ISIL's positions and imposed full control over the villages of Sharideh Sharqi and Tishrin 6th (October 6th), adding that the army units also fortified their positions between the towns of al-Dalhe and al-Namiseh along the Euphrates River towards South.

 

The source further added that the army men need to take back only the two villages of Jaber and al-Khamiseh to reach Ma'adan.

 

In the meantime, the army men engaged in clashes with ISIL in Araz al-Ka'aba region and the town of Mosheirefeh in Badiyeh (desert) in Raqqa and only 50km far from Deir Ezzur.

 

Also, the Syrian Air Force carried out repeated attacks on ISIL's positions in Jabal (mount) al-Buliyeh, Ma'adan, al-Khamiseh, al-Jaber and al-Namisehin, destroying several command centers of the ISIL.    

 

Damascus

 

Informed sources reported on Monday that clashes among terrorist groups have intensified in Eastern Ghouta following the Syrian Army advances against Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board) in the region.

 

The sources reported that gunmen of Faylaq al-Rahman affiliated to Al-Nusra engaged in a fresh round of clashes with Ahrar al-Sham in the Central part of Eastern Ghouta, adding that the army troops have continued their advances against Al-Nusra in the battlefields.

 

The sources said that continued infighting among rival terrorists in the towns of Arbin and Modireh has caused a large number of Ahrar al-Sham militants to defect their group and join Faylaq al-Rahman.

 

Meantime, the Syrian Air Force bombed Al-Nusra's positions in the depth of Eastern Ghouta.
