Rasa - A number of Palestinians Saturday suffocated from tear gas inhalation during clashes that broke out following an Israeli army raid on the town of Yabad, Southwest of Jenin, said the town’s mayor Samer Abu Baker.
RNA - Soldiers stormed the town after midnight, said Abu Baker, and clashed with residents, WAFA reported.
The soldiers fired rubber bullets, tear gas canisters and stun grenades at the residents causing several suffocation cases.
A 12-year-old boy was taken from his family home, he said.
Four other residents were also detained and taken to Dutan checkpoint South of Yabad for interrogation.
