RNA - The army units backed by the popular forces inflicted heavy losses on the militants in Hama province, killing scores of militants and injuring many more in heavy clashes.
The Syrian army and popular forces also hit hard the military positions of the terrorists in other key provinces across Syria.
Hama
Tens of ISIL terrorists were killed or wounded in Syrian Air Force's continued raids on their positions and movements in Eastern Hama.
The warplanes bombed heavily ISIL's supply lines and positions in the towns and villages of Aqayrabat, al-Souheh, Jarouh, Qasar al-Shamali and Qalib al-Thor in Eastern Hama, inflicting tens of casualties on the terrorists.
A field source reported that several vehicles of ISIL were also damaged in the attacks.
The source said that Aqayrabat is the main supply center of ISIL in region, adding that the Syrian Army tries to purge the region of terrorists to cut off ISIL's supply lines towards the regions of Sha'er and Jubb al-Jarah in Eastern Homs.
Reports said earlier on Saturday that the army soldiers engaged in tough battle with Al-Nusra terrorists that intended to prevail over their positions in al-Satahiyat region and managed to repel their attack.
The al-Nusra suffered heavy casualties in the failed attack.
The army's artillery units pounded Al-Nusra's movements in the villages of Aqrab and al-Qantara in Southwestern Hama, inflicting heavy damage on their military hardware.
Homs
A large number of ISIL terrorists have fled from their last bastion in Eastern Homs towards Deir Ezzur after the Syrian Army troops continued to advance in al-Sukhnah region with the support of the Russian and Syrian warplanes.
The army's artillery and missile units have been shelling ISIL's strongholds in al-Sukhnah in Eastern Homs since early morning.
In the meantime, the fighter jets have carried out non-stop combat flights over ISIL's defense lines in the town of al-Sukhnah, weakening terrorists' defense capabilities.
A military source, meanwhile, reported that after the artillery and missile units and fighter jets pounded ISIL's positions in al-Sukhnah, the army men intensified their attack to enter the town that caused a large number of ISIL terrorists to flee the battlefield towards Deir Ezzur.
Reports said earlier on Saturday that the army soldiers engaged in clashes with ISIL along a road that connects al-Heil energy field to the town of al-Sukhnah in the depth of Badiyeh and imposed control over Um Khasm hill, Mount al-Qalilat and al-Safireh region in the Southwestern direction of al-Sukhnah and North-East of Palmyra city.
In the meantime, the army men drive ISIL out of Wadi al-Qasab region South of al-Sukhnah, the last main bastion of ISIL before Deir Ezzur.
ISIL lost a number of members and its military hardware sustained major damage in the attacks.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army has activated several fronts in Badiyeh (desert) expanded from Raqqa to Homs, launching the final phase of a large-scale operation against the ISIL terrorists to remove over three-year-long siege on Deir Ezzur, a military source said.
The source reported that as the army men have arrived in the strategic town of al-Sukhnah, the last stronghold of ISIL before the provincial border with Deir Ezzur, other units of the army and pro-government forces kicked off a fresh operation towards the town of Humeimeh in Eastern Homs, intending to push towards the town of Albu Kamal, one of the most important towns in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
Other field sources reported that the army has carried out several heliborne flights and managed to transfer hundreds of fresh forces inside Deir Ezzur city that is under the siege of the ISIL.
The source further said that the army has also dispatched fresh forces and more military equipment from Sweida, Qamishli and Damascus province to Deir Ezzur.
Reports said earlier on Saturday that a number of ISIL terrorists have been killed in popular uprising in Eastern Deir Ezzur after the Syrian Army and Air Force intensified attacks on ISIL's positions and movements, a local source said.
The source said that a number of civilians stormed ISIL's military vehicles in the village of al-Hara, killing four terrorists.
The source further said that a number of ISIL's commanders fled Deir Ezzur province following the army soldiers' advances to lift terrorists' siege on the city.
The source went on to say that the army aircraft bombed ISIL's positions and movements heavily in Panorama base, around Regiment 137 base, and al-Maqaber (cemetery) region in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur, destroying several command centers.
Lebanon-Syria Border
A well-informed local source said that based on an agreement concluded between the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at or the Levant Liberation Board), the latter will soon leave the town of Arsal in Eastern Lebanon.
Rima Karnabi, an aide to Mayor of Arsal, reported that according to the deal concluded between Hezbollah and Al-Nusra, a 200-member group of terrorists along with their commander Abu Malik al-Tali will leave Arsal without any clashes.
