RNA - "The axis of resistance has turned into an invincible front against the Zionist regime and has changed the equations by the US and its regional allies despite all their military capabilities," Boroujerdi said in a meeting with Head of Lebanese Parliament's Fraction fir Loyalty to Resistance Mohammad Ra'ad.
He reiterated that the axis of resistance against the Zionist regime belongs to all Muslims.
"Iran lays special emphasis on upholding the status of the Islamic Ummah in international and regional domains as well as maintaining the Muslim unity vis-à-vis the enemies," Boroujerdi added.
Earlier in July, Boroujerdi censured the US and its allies for keeping mum about terrorists’ organized crimes in the region.
Boroujerdi said in a meeting on Sunday in Tehran with Hussein al-Raqeeb, a member of People's Council of Syria, the so-called advocates of human rights do nothing to relieve pains of the Syrian people.
While people in certain areas in Syria are under siege of terrorists and in a critical situation, the so-called advocates of human rights do nothing to help them, he said.
“US and its allied are root cause of a crisis in the region which has massacred the Syrian and other countries’ people over the past six years,” Boroujerdi added.
The Syrian MP, for his part, voiced deep regret over the June 7 terrorist attacks in Tehran, adding “the scourge of terrorism and extremism is a global issue that will soon spread to all over the world if all countries do not take unified actions against it.”
Raqeeb thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support, adding “the Syrian people will never forget Iran’s help during this difficult time.”
He further stressed that the Syrian nation will continue fighting terrorism until the complete eradication of this scourge.
