RNA - "The US is known as the main violator of human rights and supporter of terrorist groups and state terrorism," General Jazzayeri said on Monday.

"The evidence and documents show that the US and Britain have formed and strengthened the terrorist groups in the Middle-East region," he added.

Jazzayeri warned that all the governments which have helped the terrorists in Iraq and Syria will have more problems in the future, adding that the US is no exception.

In relevant remarks in March, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani blasted the western countries, specially the US, for continued support for the terrorist groups in the region.

"The western countries and the US government not only do not do anything to confront terrorism, but by supporting the terrorist groups prepare the grounds for increasing their presence in the region," Shamkhani said.

He reiterated that the US is also supporting Saudi Arabia in its attacks on the civilians in Yemen.

Also, in late February, Shamkhani blasted the Saudi regime for supporting Israel in the region.

"The Riyadh government's policies are based on supporting terrorism and Zionism regime’s opportunist approach at a time that regional tensions are escalating," Shamkhani said in a meeting with Syrian Parliament Speaker Hadiya Khalaf Abbas in Tehran.

He reiterated that blackmailing through terrorism is a habit of Israel and Saudi Arabia.
