Syria in Last 24 Hours:
Rasa - The Syrian army soldiers repelled terrorists' attack on their positions in Deir Ezzur province after hours of clashes, inflicting major losses on them.

RNA - The ISIL terrorists' attacks to capture the government forces' positions South of Deir Ezzur city were fended off by the strong defense of the Syrian military men.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Hama, over the past 24 hours.

 

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in other provinces across Syria.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian army, supported by the air force, repulsed ISIL's attacks against the military positions in Deir Ezzur, inflicting a heavy defeat on the militants.

 

The Syrian troops engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL terrorists who wanted to occupy al-Roshdiyeh district in Deir Ezzur, leaving several militants dead and repelling their offensive.

 

Meantime, the army's artillery units targeted ISIL's moves near the regions of al-Maqaber (cemetery), al-Roshdiyeh, al-Huwaiqeh, al-Baliqiyeh and areas near Brigade 137, killing over 18 ISIL militants and smashing several of their military vehicles.

 

Also, the Russian and Syrian fighter jets launched several attacks on ISIL positions and moves near Huwaijeh al-Mariyeh region near Panorama and the paper factory in Southern Deir Ezzur and al-Bu Lail in the Southern parts of Deir Ezzur, inflicting heavy damage on the terrorists.

 

The Syrian warplanes also heavily pounded the ISIL positions in Wadi Tharda, two districts of al-Huwaiqeh and al-Roshdiyeh, the villages of al-Husseiniyeh, al-Shoula and Ma'adan and the town of Mu Hassan, killing a number of militants.

 

Hama

 

The Syrian army dispatched hundreds of fresh forces to the Eastern parts of Hama province to intensify operations against the ISIL terrorists.

 

Hundreds of fresh forces arrived in Eastern Hama to help the Syrian army in its anti-ISIL campaign, as pro-government forces started an offensive to liberate Aqayrabat town, the main bastion of the Takfiri terrorists in the region.

 

The Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out a large-scale joint operation in Hama province to hit ISIL's defense lines East of the town of al-Salamiyah.

 

According to reports, pro-gov't forces began their military operation to liberate the Eastern countryside of al-Salamiyah, which has been under ISIL's control for more than two years.

 

Liberation of Aqayrabat region is a main objective of the Syrian and Russian forces' operation in Eastern Hama, as it is considered ISIL's main stronghold in the province that is located along the terrorist group’s main supply route to Raqqa province.

 

Quneitra

 

The Syrian army warded off another offensive by al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in Quneitra, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists.

 

The army forces engaged in heavy clashes with the al-Nusra terrorists who had attacked regions near Eastern al-Samdaniyeh in the Southern parts of al-Ba'ath city in Quneitra, repulsing their offensive.

 

Meantime, the army's artillery and missile units targeted the terrorists' moves in the region, killing a number of militants, including two of their field and military commanders.

 

Also, a military source said that clashes near al-Ba'ath city have left 45 terrorists dead and 130 others wounded, adding that Israel has transferred the al-Nusra's injured militants to its hospitals and a number of Hebrew-language media have released reports about it.

 

Damascus

 

The Syrian soldiers recaptured new areas in Eastern Damascus after repulsing the terrorists' heavy attacks.

 

The army forces engaged in clashes with al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) terrorists who had launched an offensive against the military points near Be'r al-Qasab and Rajm al-Sarikhi regions in Southeastern Damascus and repelled their offensive.

 

During the clashes, the army forces killed a large number of militants and destroyed 5 of their military vehicles, a missile-launcher, an anti-tank missile launchpad and a mortar-launcher.

 

They also launched counter-operation against the terrorists near Be'r al-Qasab region and regained control of a three-km area in the Southeastern parts of Rajm al-Sarikhi region.

 

Also, in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, the Syrian army recaptured several buildings in the Northern parts of al-Manar driving training center after fierce clashes with the terrorists, and reached areas near Ain Tarma bridge.
