RNA - "Riyadh sword dance and Trump’s generous financial offering to the Saudi regime aimed at throwing Iran into a new fray," Rezayee, also former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), said on Wednesday.

He said that Al Saud has been showing enmity and spite against the Iranian nation for the past forty years and each time, they had failed in their attempts.

The senior official, meantime, warned Saudi Arabia that their next provocation against Iran will be faced with harsh retaliation and said, "This is not the first time that Saudis have tried to provoke other countries against Iran."

In relevant remarks on Tuesday, Iranian Supreme Leader's top aide Ali Akbar Velayati blasted Saudi Arabia for destabilizing the region, and said that the Riyadh government is unable to adopt a peaceful stance towards its neighbors.

"Their row with Qatar shows that they cannot even have a peaceful co-existence with their closest neighbors," Velayati said.

Leader's top aide said that the Saudis' statements against Iran stem from their inexperience and their lack of knowledge about Iran.

Asked about Saudis’ claims on Tehran's terror attacks, Velayati said that they do not dare to take any action against Iran.

Leader's top aide said that the problem with Saudi Arabia is that the people in charge of their foreign ministry sometimes say things that stem from their ignorance of Iran and the region.

In relevant remarks in late May, Velayati voiced his regret over the recent visit of US President Donald Trump to Riyadh, and said that Saudi Arabia is supporting a fake version of Islam.

"The recent developments in Saudi Arabia are true examples of American Islam," Velayati said.

The Leader's top aide underlined that the recent efforts by Saudi Arabia are true realizations of “American Islam” as predicted by late Imam Khomeini, Founder of the Islamic Revolution.

"Mr. Trump just acted like a wanderer to save the failed economy of the US," he added.
