Rasa – A Shi’ah mosque in eastern Sri Lanka has attacked by Wahhabis.
RNA – A Shi'ah Muslim mosque, Masjid Sayyidna Muhammad wa Aale Muhammad, was attacked by Wahhabi/Takfiri terrorists in Oddamavadi in Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province on Thursday night (June 8) while more than fifty believers were gathered to recite the Holy Quran after maghrib prayers during the holy month of Ramadhan.
The attackers destroyed much of the mosque’s property and several believers were injured.
Reports say that there was $60,000 worth of damage done to the mosque.
No official information about the attack has been revealed yet and the police have now taken control of the situation.
