RNA - The Syrian army hit hard the terrorists' military positions and hardware in Deir Ezzur province in Eastern Syria.
The terrorists in Deir Ezzur province sustained heavy losses in tough battle with the Syrian army.
The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at ISIL's positions and movements in nine different regions near the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur, killing at least 70 terrorists and wounding tens scores of others.
The artillery and missile units shelled ISIL's concentration centers and movements in Tal (hill) Aloush, al-Thardah crossroad, al-Makbat region, Panorama base and the nearby hills, the road to Palmyra city, the neighborhood of al-Roshdiyeh and the villages of al-Janineh and Ayyash, killing over 70 terrorists and destroying four military vehicles and equipment.
In relevant developments in the province on Friday the Syrian Air Force carried out several combat sorties over ISIL's strongholds and movements in the Southern outskirts of Deir Ezzur city, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
ISIL lost a number of forces and its military hardware sustained major damage in the army air raids on terrorists' positions and movements in al-Maqaber (cemetery) region, Tal (hill) Aloush, Tal 17 and Tamin Brigade base.
Aleppo
The Syrian Army managed to seize control over more key territories along Khanasser-Ithriya road in its campaign against ISIL South-East of Aleppo province.
The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in the Eastern direction of Khanasser-Ithriya road, capturing regions in the Northeastern and Central parts of al-Toweiyineh mountain.
The army men also drove ISIL away from al-Elm strategic hill in the same region.
The army units also inflicted major losses on ISIL in the attack.
Well-informed sources said earlier on Saturday that the army's recent advances in Eastern Aleppo to capture Maskana have left the ISIL with no other option but to pull the remaining pockets of its forces back towards Raqqa province.
Meantime, the Syrian Army troops continued their anti-ISIL operation to recapture the strategic town of Maskana in Eastern Aleppo and managed to take back 10 villages and regions, military sources said, adding that the pro-government forces have gained control over the Raqqa-Maskana highway.
The sources said that the army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL and drove them out of the villages of Doweirineh, al-Balisiyeh, Um Hajra, al-Morteza al-Qadimiyeh and al-Sharideh in Eastern Aleppo.
The sources went on to say that the army arrived at the Raqqa-Maskana highway and imposed control over the highway after liberating the said villages.
The army units also pushed ISIL back from the village of Rasm al-Qazal North of Maskana and the villages of al-Kalateh, Um Rojol, al-Mawaniyeh, al-Khefeh and Khirbet al-Fakhah South and South-West of the town of Jubb al-Homam in Eastern Aleppo.
In the meantime, the Russian fighter jets pounded ISIL's positions in the village of al-Joweim East of Aleppo and in the neighborhoods of al-Badou, al-Rehaniyeh and Kajali in Maskana city.
Dara'a
The Syrian Army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in Dara'a city and managed to repel their offensive, killing or wounding a number of them.
The army men engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra terrorists in the Eastern part of al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Dara'a city, killing a large number of terrorists and destroying two tanks and three missile launchers.
Media sources reported Friday that the army troops ambushed terrorists in two different regions in Dara'a province, killing 20 militants and wounding several more.
The Arabic-language al-Mayadeen TV quoted local sources as saying that the army soldiers ambushed a group of terrorists along a road that connects Kafr Shams to Aqraba in Northern Dara'a, killing 17 terrorists.
The source added that three more terrorists were killed in another ambush operation of the army men along a read that links the towns of al-Qariyeh al-Sharqiyeh and al-Sowareh.
