RNA - The terrorists in Deir Ezzur province sustained heavy losses in tough battle with the Syrian army.
The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at ISIL's concentration centers and movements in different regions and neighborhoods in and outside the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
The missile units shelled ISIL's positions in al-Thardah region, destroying a military vehicle and killing or wounding a large number of terrorists.
The artillery units, meantime, targeted ISIL's gathering centers in the neighborhoods of al-Omal, old airport, al-Roshdiyeh, around Panorama base and al-Tayem road, West of Tal (hill) al-Sonouf and around Deir Ezzur's airbase, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.
In the meantime, other units of the army launched an attack on ISIL's strongholds in al-Ma'amel region South-West of Tamin brigade base, destroying ISIL's positions and killing a number of them.
Raqqa
The predominately Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued the fourth phase of their Euphrates Rage Operation in Raqqa province and reached the al-Ba'ath dam, the third largest water reservoir in the country.
The SDF fighters engaged in a tough battle with ISIL and managed to capture the village of Karidan, deploying forces in the nearest distance to al-Ba'ath dam.
The ISIL lost 10 members and a large volume of arms and ammunition in the attack.
In the meantime, the SDF repelled ISIL's attack on the village of Misloun Northwest of Raqqa, killing 20 ISIL militants.
Aleppo
The Syrian Army forces' heavy attacks on ISIL's defense lines in Eastern Aleppo forced the terrorists to retreat from 10 villages after leaving behind a large number of fighters dead.
The army soldiers launched a massive attack on ISIL's positions and drove them out of the villages of Mawaleh Saqir, Mawaleh Kabir, Mastriheh, Batoushiyeh, Ramazaniyeh, Ta'aousat, Khirbet al-Zib, Kirbet Hasoun, Shiheh, al-Abas and Wadi al-Mawaleh.
Early battlefield reports said the ISIL has lost tens of fighters in the attack.
Reports said earlier on Saturday that the army units engaged in another tough battle with ISIL North of the town of Maskana and managed to liberate the town of al-Sukriyeh, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.
Homs
The Syrian Army troops continued to hit ISIL's defense lines hard Southwest of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur), taking back control over more territories.
The Syrian soldiers continued their advances against ISIL in the Southern direction of the village of Khneifis and South-East of the village of al-Basiri 46km to the East of Homs city and took control over the village and region of al-Alyaniyeh.
A military source reported, meantime, that tens of ISIL terrorists were killed and their military equipment and arms were destroyed in the attack.
Sweida
The Syrian Army troops, backed up by the country's Air Force, engaged in fierce clashes with terrorist groups in Eastern Sweida, repelling their attack and inflicting major losses on them.
The army soldiers engaged in tough battle with the terrorists of Ahmad al-Abdou and Aswad al-Sharqiyeh who attacked the pro-government forces' positons in al-Rahba region North of al-Zalaf dam to take back their lost positions, fending off the terrorists' offensive and killing or wounding a number of them.
The army forces also inflicted major losses on the terrorists' military hardware in the clashes in Sweida's borders with Damascus province.
In the meantime, the army aircraft pounded terrorists' first defense lines in areas surrounding Tal (hill) al-Safa al-Barakani.
Quneitra
Anti-aircraft units of the Syrian Army shot down an armed Israeli drone which had conducted numerous sorties in the Southern province of Quneitra, leading to the death of three Syrian Army soldiers on Friday evening.
The Syrian Army troops were hit by the hostile drone while advancing behind enemy lines near the road between Al-Hamdiyah and Abu Shabta, prompting the Syrian Air Defense Force to open fire and down the Israeli drone over militant-held territory, Al Masdar reported.
Neither Tel Aviv or Damascus has responded to the incident yet. Nevertheless, the two sides remain practically at a state of war since the Israeli Armed Forces occupied much of the Golan Heights over five decades ago.
