Rasa - Israeli forces Wednesday detained at least nine Palestinians in multiple overnight raids across the West Bank, said sources.

RNA - Israeli forces detained three Palestinians, including a 16-year-old minor, after ransacking their homes in Tuqou town, East of Bethlehem, WAFA reported.

 

Forces also detained two Palestinians during separate two predawn raids into Bethlehem city and Husan village, West of the city.

 

Meanwhile, Israeli police detained a Palestinian from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya during clashes between Israeli police and Palestinians who rallied in solidarity with hunger-striking prisoners.

 

Police clashed with Palestinians near the African community, Bab Hatta and al-Wad neighborhoods in Jerusalem’s Old City, as well as Issawiya neighborhood.

 

Police fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at protestors who hurled stones, empty bottles and fire crackers in response.

 

In the Northern West Bank, troops raided the town of Azzun and city of Qalqiliya, where they detained two Palestinians.

 

Another Palestinian was detained during a predawn raid into Bani Naim town, east of Hebron, in the Southern west Bank.

 

Troops also detained a Palestinian after shooting and injuring him during clashes in Silwad village, North of Ramallah.
