RNA - A radio host and political commentator believes Israel has taken a very clear side in the conflict in Syria right from the beginning, adding that this latest attack proves Tel Aviv’s support for the terrorists.
“There is really nothing new under the sun here. We have seen this time and time again over the course of the last four or five years. Israel has repeatedly intervened in this conflict directly militarily and always against the Syrian Arab army, against the Syrian military and against the Syrian government,” Navid Nasr told Press TV in an interview on Sunday.
“I cannot think of a single incident where they have militarily intervened and bombed positions of the “rebels” - not one time,” he added.
The commentator also noted there was evidence that Israelis were not only sending arms to the terrorists in Syria, but also treating them in their hospitals and sending them back across the border.
Nasr concluded by saying that Israel’s attack on Fawwar camp “is not surprising at all”, adding that it was just a “continuation” of Tel Aviv’s policy with regard to the conflict in Syria.
