RNA - Shaaban reiterated, in an interview with al-Mayadeen TV channel, that the local reconciliations taking place throughout the country without foreign interference are the best way to restore security and stability to Syria, SANA reported.
Meanwhile, the Syrian diplomat stressed that the US attack on al-Shayrat airbase came in the aftermath of the Syrian army’s achievements on the ground and the losses inflicted upon the terrorist organizations.
The strike also came as Russia increases its role in settling the crisis in Syria, Shaaban said, describing as “wrong” the impression about the inability of Syria and its allies to respond to the US aggression.
She stated that Khan Sheikhoun incident is definitely fabricated, adding that Syria got rid of all chemical weapons as declared by the Organization of the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in June 2014.
