Rasa - The Syrian army attacked the terrorists in Homs province, and inflicted heavy losses on them.

RNA - The Syrian army launched a preemptive attack on the ISIL terrorists in Southwestern Homs province, killing and wounding scores of terrorists.

 

The Syrian army also inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist groups in other key regions across Syria.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian Army's artillery and missile units launched heavy shelling on the movements of ISIL in three regions before the terrorist group could kick off a large-scale attack in Southwestern Homs.

 

ISIL planned to prevail over the government forces' defense lines in Southwestern Homs, 10km South of the town of al-Quaryatayn, the mountainous region of Fataha al-Mahsah South of the al-Quaryatayn dam and Thaniyah al-Mazibleh region, but their plan was defused after their movements came under massive shelling of the artillery and missile units.

 

A large number of ISIL terrorists were killed or wounded under the heavy fire.

 

In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force pounded ISIL's positions in al-Sha'er oilfield, the towns of al-Sukhnah and al-Tibeh in Eastern Homs, inflicting an unspecified number of casualties on the terrorists.

 

Sources in Northern Homs reported that the army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with terrorists East of al-Houleh region, while the artillery and missile units shelled heavily terrorists' concentration centers in the same region.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Army's artillery and missile units targeted and destroyed several ISIL positions used for launching attacks on government forces' defense lines in Deir Ezzur city and its countryside.

 

The artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at ISIL's positions and movements in al-Thardah mountain South-West of Deir Ezzur city, destroying two tanks and an armored vehicle and killing or wounding their crew.

 

In the meantime, the artillery and missile unis hit ISIL's concentration centers near the al-Tayem oilfield crossroad Southwest of Deir Ezzur, destroying an area that was used by the terrorists to carry out bomb-laden drone attacks on army positions. 

 

Dara'a

 

Field sources reported on Tuesday that the Syrian Army has sent a large number of fresh forces to the Southern city of Dara'a to reinvigorate its combat capabilities.

 

The sources confirmed that the army has forwarded fresh units of military forces to al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in the Southern part of Dara'a city to take part in an imminent operation against Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board).

 

Other sources in Southern Syria reported that the army's artillery and missile units heavily pounded the movements and positions of Al-Nusra in Tariq al-Saad (way to dam) neighborhood, South of Khazan (Makhzan) al-Karak neighborhood, East of al-Masri square and in al-Feren neighborhood, killing several terrorists and destroying their positions equipped with  machineguns and snipers.

The Syrian Army troops repelled a fresh offensive of Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) on several positions of pro-government forces in Northern Quneitra, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra and managed to fend off their attack on their positions in the village of al-Samdaniyeh al-Sharqi and areas near the town of Khan Arnabeh, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and equipment.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery units targeted the movements of the terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh, al-Rawazi and al-Mantara dam regions, killing and wounding a number of militants.
