RNA - The Syrian army killed and wounded a number of the terrorists in the outskirts of the city of Deir Ezzur.
The Syrian army also inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist groups in other key regions across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian Army troops continued their military operation against the ISIL in regions South of Deir Ezzur city, driving terrorists out of a key height overlooking the city's highly important airbase.
The army soldiers stormed ISIL’s positions at a key hilltop in the city's cemetery, capturing the hilltop Southwest of the Deir Ezzur military airport.
Military sources, meantime, reported that pro-government forces will continue their operation to recapture the entire cemetery and its nearby regions in order to lift the several-year-long siege on Deir Ezzur military airbase.
Damascus
Military sources in Western Damascus reported that the Syrian Army troops entered the town of Madhaya after gunmen and their family members left the town for militant-held regions in the Northern parts of the country.
The sources said that after evacuation of the gunmen, who refused to join the peace agreement with the Syrian government, and their family members from Madhaya and their departure towards Ramouseh garages South of Aleppo, reconciliation committees, including the army soldiers, entered the town of Madhaya to study amnesty applications of the remaining pockets of the militants and restore security to the town.
They added that government service institutions will resume operation in Madhaya as soon as full security is restored to the town.
Aleppo
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have handed over six more villages to the Syrian Army troops in Northern Aleppo under the monitoring of the Russian forces, local sources said on Saturday.
The SDF gave control of the villages of Kabashin, Borj Heidar and Fafrin Southeast of the town of Afrin and the villages of Zaof al-Kabir, Borj Qas and Bashmereh in the Nubl region to the Syrian army.
An informed source said that Pentagon has demanded Kurdish forces to hand over the town of Tal Rifat and several nearby villages to Liwa al-Mo'atasem.
The source who requested anonymity said that Liwa al-Mo'atasem terrorist group along with some of the commanders of the Free Syrian Army have accepted to negotiate with SDF under the US mediation.
Raqqa
The SDF continued the Euphrates Rage operations against ISIL in Western Raqqa and managed to enter the neighborhoods of the strategic al-Tabaqa city.
The SDF engaged in tough battle with ISIL and managed to enter al-Tabaqa from the Western and Eastern directions.
Local sources reported that the Kurdish forces have advanced around one and a half km against ISIL regardless of a large number of landmines planted by ISIL across the city.
The Kurdish fighters have killed over 10 ISIL members in the clashes and have seized a large volume of arms and ammunitions and a number of military vehicles.
Hama
The Russian fighter jets launched massive air raids on terrorists' positions and gathering centers in Northwestern Hama, inflicting major losses on the militants.
The Russian warplanes, simultaneous with the army troops' operation South of the town of Halfaya, carried out ten combat sorties and bombed heavily the positions of Jeish al-Izzah and Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board) in Halfaya, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
Field sources reported that the army used hundreds of soldiers and attacked terrorists' positions South of Halfaya, but a large number of militants in the battlefield slowed down the government forces' advances in the region.
In the meantime, the army men launched fresh attacks on terrorists' strongholds in various regions in Northern Hama and managed to advance in regions stretching to the towns of Souran and Taybat al-Imam.
