Russian Senator:
Rasa - Deputy Chairman of Committee of Russia's State Duma on Defense stressed that Russia will immediately retaliate if the Russian military units in Syria are targeted, reports said.
RNA - Yury Shvydkin said there are Russian military facilities on the Syrian territories, and in case the Russian military units are threatened, the US President Donald Trump and his ilk must realize what this would lead to, RIA Novosti reported.
He indicated that there will be real deeds not words.
The Russian legislator also noted that the Syrian air defense is able to confront any threat by itself due to the measures taken after the US aggression.
