Syria in Past 24 Hours:

RNA - A sum of 15 civilians were killed and wounded in the US-led coalition air raids in Raqqa and al-Tabaqa cities.

 

Raqqa

 

The US-led coalition warplanes targeted al-Ferdows neighborhood near the White Garden region in ISIL-held Raqqa city, killing two civilians and wounding four more.

 

In the meantime, the coalition fighter jets pounded al-Sina'ah region, Garage Bazaar and al-Monqiyeh neighborhood in the city of al-Tabaqa (55km West of Raqqa city), killing a 3-member family and injuring six of their relatives.

 

Also in the past 24 hours, the predominately Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued the Euphrates Rage operations in Western Raqqa and managed to deploy forces close to the entrance of the ISIL-held city of al-Tabaqa.

 

The SDF stormed ISIL's defense lines East of al-Tabaqa city and managed to take control over the village of Abad, reaching position only 7km away from the city.

 

The Kurdish forces killed over 30 ISIL fighters in the attack, seizing their arms and ammunition.

 

In the meantime, the SDF fighters advanced against ISIL in the village of Safsafeh and deployed in areas only 3km to Wadi (plain) Sho'eibeh.

 

A military source said that fierce clashes are underway between the SDF and ISIL in three fronts near the international road to al-Tabaqa, adding that the SDF has reached the gates of al-Tabaqa.

 

Hama

 

The Syrian Army troops, backed up by the country's Air Force, launched fresh rounds of attacks on the defense lines of the Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in Northern Hama, killing tens of terrorists, including a notorious field commander.

 

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with terrorists in Batish front, while the artillery and missile units and warplanes shelled heavily militants' concentration centers in the same region, inflicting heavy casualties on them.

 

A military source reported that the artillery units targeted the positions of the terrorists North of the town of Halfaya, killing three field commanders.

 

The source added that the missile units also shelled terrorists' movements in areas surrounding the town of Ma'ardes and in the town of Taybat al-Imam, killing ten of militants.

 

Other sources confirmed that an arms and ammunition depot of the terrorists in the town of al-Latamina was targeted and destroyed in the Syrian army's artillery fire, adding that a number of militants were killed in the attack.

 

Also on Monday, fresh army reinforcement troops have arrived in Hama province to reinvigorate government forces' combat capabilities in the war against terrorist groups, Military sources said, adding that the pro-government forces are now ready to start massive operations in the Northern parts of province.

 

The sources added that tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, rocket launchers as well as a significant number of the Syrian army’s elite forces who have been fighting the ISIL terrorists in Eastern Aleppo have poured into Northern Hama to continue military campaign against the Al-Nusra Front in the region.

 

Another field source said that taking back lost lands, liberating more positions and decreasing future threats of the terrorist groups in Northern Hama are the main objectives of the army's fresh operation in the province. 

 

The Syrian Army soldiers started a fresh round of attacks on terrorists' defense lines in Northern Hama on Monday and managed to push the militants back from several checkpoints.

 

The army troops, backed up by artillery fire, engaged in fierce clashes with the terrorists and took full control over the checkpoints of Kaziyeh Sha'er and al-Mabaqer West of the town of Ma'ardes along the road to the town of Taybat al-Imam.

 

The terrorists lost a number of fighters in the attack.

 

Damascus

 

The Al-Nusra Front intends to leave the Palestinian Yarmouk Refugee Camp in the Southwestern outskirts of Damascus city based on an old agreement with the Syrian Army, Arab media outlets said on Monday.

 

The Arabic language al-Watan daily quoted a well-informed Palestinian source as saying that a few days after the commander of al-Qara'ein group was killed, the Al-Nusra called on the Syrian army via some mediators to pave the ground for implementation of an old agreement to evacuate fighters from the al-Yarmouk camp.

 

The daily further added the army has announced that it will study Al-Nusra's demand provided that their evacuation will be done based on a new agreement.

 

The source told al-Watan that those who intend to stay in the camp must hand over their arms and apply for government amnesty.

 

The paper said that the call for retreat has only been raised by the Al-Nusra, and not ISIL.

 

Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian Air Force attack on a meeting of senior commanders of the terrorist group East of Damascus province has pushed the militant front on the verge of collapse, Arab media revealed on Monday.

 

The Arabic language al-Watan daily reported that several commanders of terrorists have been killed and several others have been wounded in Syrian army air raid on a command post of the terrorists in Zmelka district East of Jobar.

 

The paper added that Suleiman al-Ajwah, Yaser Mahmoud, Abdullah al-Khanshour nom de guerre Sheikh of snipers, Omar Beiraqdar and Balal Albu'ayzi, the cousin of Jeish al-Islam's leader were in the building when it came under attack.

 

Also on Monday, the Syrian Army forces continued to advance against terrorists in Eastern Ghouta and managed to take back full control over several positions.

 

The army soldiers carried out a surprise attack on terrorists' positions in East of Damascus province and advanced against terrorists in Hawsh al-Zawahera neighborhood.

 

The army men imposed full control over Hawsh al-Zawahera school and several other buildings, including six villas.

 

A military source said that the army's advances in Hawsh al-Zawahera occurred without an antillery backup, adding that the army forces managed to kill several snipers of Jeish al-Islam terrorist group deployed in Hawash al-Zawahera school.  

 

Dara'a

 

The Syrian Army troops once again repelled repeated attacks of Al-Nusra Front on government forces' positions in the Southern city of Dara'a, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

The army soldiers engaged in an intense battle with Al-Nusra that attacked government forces' positions in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood from Mo'awiyeh school, fending off their offensive and killing or wounding a number of them.

 

In the meantime, the army's artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at the movements and gathering centers of Al-Nusra in the neighborhoods of al-Bahar, al-Arbaeen garden, the road to the dam, Northeast of al-Banin school and areas near al-Yarmouk school in Dara'a city, destroying two command posts, three missile launchers, two mortar launchers, a machinegun-equipped position and killing a large number of militants.

 

Local sources reported, meantime, that the army ambushed a military vehicle of the terrorists on the road connecting al-Qariyeh al-Qarbi to Seida in Eastern Dara'a heading towards al-Manshiyeh neighborhood to back militants there.

 

Also on Monday, top commander of the terrorist groups' Operation Room, Bonyan al-Marsous, was killed in the Syrian Army troops' offensive in Southern part of Dara'a city, Arab media reported.

 

The Arabic language al-Mayadeen reported that the army soldiers launched a fresh attack on the positions of the Al-Nusra Front in the neighborhoods of al-Manshiyeh and al-Karak, killing Abu Seif Abazied, the military commander of the terrorist group's operation room.

 

Abazeid was also the commander of al-Ramah al-Awali terrorist group. He had come under attack in Dara'a in late 2016, but survived and reappeared on the battle scenes weeks later.

 

Aleppo

 

The Syrian Army's artillery and missile units and Air Force targeted a number of positions of the Al-Nusra Front in Western, Northern and Southern Aleppo, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

 

The warplanes bombed terrorists' positions in the town of Anadan in response to the militants' Grade missile attack on residential areas in the towns of Nubl and al-Zahra, killing a number of terrorists.

 

In the meantime, the missile and artillery units shelled the positions and movements of the terrorists in the towns of Hayan, Yaqad al-Adas, Kafr Bisin and Babis in the Northern countryside of Aleppo city.

 

Field sources reported meantime that the artillery units targeted terrorist groups' concentration centers in the towns of Khalseh and Zeitan in the Southern countryside of Aleppo and in other regions near the settlement of Qabtan al-Jabal in the Western countryside of Aleppo.      

 

Commander of the Kurdish fighters of Jeish al-Thowar said that the Turkish Army's operation in the villages of al-Shahba'a dam was part of Ankara's plan to access Idlib and lay siege on Aleppo.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The Syrian Air Force and the army's artillery and missile units continued to hit ISIL's positions and gathering centers hard in the outskirts of the Eastern city of Deir Ezzur, inflicting tens of casualties on the terrorists.

 

The artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at the sites and movements of ISIL in the 137th regiment region near the Deir Ezzur airbase and two neighborhoods of al-Sina'ah and al-Huweiqa, killing at least 14 terrorists and wounding several more.

 

A military source, meantime, said that several vehicles, mortar launders and machineguns of ISIL were destroyed in the army attack in al-Maqaber (cemetery) region South of Deir Ezzur.

 

In the meantime, the artillery units also pounded the positions of a group of ISIL terrorists in al-Roshdiyeh neighborhood, killing the entire members of the group.

 

Also, the army aircraft bombed ISIL's movements in al-Thardah mountain and al-Maqaber region, destroying several positons and military vehicles and killing or wounding a number of terrorists.
