Rasa - A Palestinian citizen was critically injured by live fire and eight others were detained during an Israeli military incursion into Dehesheh refugee camp, near Bethlehem, security sources said.

RNA - Clashes erupted between the forces and local Palestinians, during which the forces opened live fire and critically injured Akram al-Atrash, 23, with three bullets in the back and shoulder.

 

He was moved to nearby Beit Jala public hospital for medical treatment, where his case was described as critical.

 

Israeli army detained eight Palestinians during the offensive.

 

Israeli forces carry out raids across the occupied Palestinian territory on a near-nightly basis, with the UN recording an average of 95 weekly raids in the West Bank in 2016, and 73 weekly raids on average thus far in 2017.

 

The majority of raids are carried in cities, villages, and refugee camps located in Area A which should be under full Palestinian Authority control according to the Oslo agreements.
