RNA - "Washington has not been committed to its undertakings and agreements with Iraq in the past few years," Mohammad Naji said on Wednesday.
He said that the Americans have not even remained committed to the strategic agreements between the two countries which benefited the Iraqis.
His remarks came after Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said he won assurances of US support in fighting the ISIL in talks on Monday with Trump and top advisers, but cautioned that military might alone would not be sufficient.
Abadi's comments followed his first face-to-face meeting at the White House with Trump, who took office on Jan. 20 pledging a new strategy to defeat the ISIL.
Even before Trump took office, Iraqi army and popular forces had recaptured a string of major cities from the ISIL, shrank the militant group's finances and significantly stemmed the flow of foreign fighters.
