RNA - “We have to state that Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein’s speech at the 34th session of the UN Human Rights Council was not the first in a row of his statements and public assessments inadmissible for a UN official and opposite to commitments and requirements of professional ethics stipulated in the organization’s Charter for staff of the UN Secretariat,” Zakharova said, TASS reported.

“This poses the question whether such actions of Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein are in conformity with the high international status of his position,” she said.

The UN Human Rights Commissioner Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein told human rights council that the war has become “the worst man-made disaster the world has seen since World War II".

The entire conflict is this immense tidal wave of bloodshed and atrocity, he said, and accused the Syrian government of torture, unfair trials and execution.
