He reiterated that it is for exactly 40 years that the West has waged proxy wars in Muslim countries as they have attacked 12 Muslim countries.
"This is a heinous and painful plot for the Muslim world that whenever they want they attack the houses of oppressed people in Pakistan and attack a wedding ceremony in Afghanistan or drive out the oppressed Palestinians from their lands," General Salami said.
In relevant remarks on Thursday, General Salami underlined the power of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance group, and said the revolutionaries can turn Israel into hell for the Zionists.
"The Zionist regime which once considered itself as secure is not secure now from Hezbollah's fire, and the revolutionary forces are able to create a hell for the Zionists in a short period of time," General Salami said, addressing a ceremony in the Northwestern city of Tabriz.
He also referred to the latest developments in the region, and said the Americans are not able to do anything in Syria and the US army has become confused, and confrontation with Iran has made the US exhausted and weak.
In relevant remarks in February, General Salami underlined that the US is growingly losing its power, noting that Washington's assessment of Tehran's tough reaction to any possible aggression discourages the White House from attacking Iran.
"The US power is declining given its wrong interfering policies but its threats still continue," General Salami said in an interview with the state-run TV.
Referring to the US military threats leveled against Iran through the phrase "all options are on the table", he said, "They have never managed to put these threats into action as their assessments of the Islamic Republic of Iran's power of retaliation that are close to reality have warned them that confronting this power would have dangerous consequences for the US interests."
