In relevant remarks last week, Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezayee said his country is a friend of the Arab nations, and its problems with few Arab states find their roots in the views and policies of their rulers, and not the people.
"We don’t have any problem with the Arabs, but the problem lies with the arrogant rulers who are servants of Israel," Rezayee wrote on his twitter page last Saturday.
"People in Saudi Arabia and the UAE are thirsty for democracy," he added.
