Anti-Trump Protest in US

RNA - In the weeks since President Donald Trump began signing executive orders from actions on the Keystone XL and Dakota pipeline projects to an immigration travel ban New Yorkers have taken to the streets in protest, AM New York reported.

Demonstrations have taken place all over the city, including outside Trump Tower, at the Stonewall National Monument, Battery Park, Tompkins Square Park, Washington Square Park, Times Square and outside Kennedy Airport, where some travelers were detained when Trump's travel ban took effect. Students also walked out of class in protest over Trump's policies and rallied in Foley Square on Feb. 7, 2017.

Their upcoming protest will be held on Saturday, March 4, before New York's Public Library, in Manhattan.

Six days before the national Rise with Standing Rock mobilization in Washington, D.C., march the march aims to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline and its threat to the Standing Rock Sioux, their sacred lands and clean water.

Earlier this week, people in the Canadian city of Vancouver staged a wide-spread protest aganist Trump's policies as two eldest sons of the US president attended the grand opening of their company’s new hotel and condominium tower in the city.

They actually were greeted by protests in this Canadian city known for its diversity and progressive politics.

Protesters, some carrying posters proclaiming, “Love Trumps Hate,” surrounded the building’s entrance while police and security officers in black suits gathered on sidewalks at the soaring tower, which has drawn praise for its sleek design but has also raised ethical concerns about the business interests of the new US president.
