RNA - "The Israelis' footprints are seen in all developments in the region… from Yemen to Bahrain and Syria and other nearby countries," Amir Abdollahian said in an interview with al-Mayadeen news channel on Tuesday.
He referred to the situation in Syria, and said the al-Nusra (Fatah al-Sham) Front terrorists in the Golan Heights are maintaining Israel's security.
Warning that two sides of the coin of terrorism, meaning the Zionist terrorism and Takfiri terrorism, have now become united against the regional people, Amir Abdollahian said that they have set fire to the region and fomented unrests which don’t benefit anyone even Saudi Arabia, as the main supporter of terrorist groups, and merely make Israel happy.
He also blasted certain the regional states, specially Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, for attempts to normalize ties with the Zionist regime.
In relevant remarks in December, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan warned that Israel and its allies are attempting to strengthen the terrorist groups and prolong insecurity in the region to their benefit.
"The Takfiri-terrorist stream which has been created by the Americans, the Zionists, the reactionary Arabs of the region and even certain countries like Turkey will not be confined to Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq; it is a pervasive event which distorts and threatens the global system and security," General Deqan said.
He said that the Zionists and the arrogant countries are making their best efforts to prolong this atmosphere because it depletes the revolutionary potential of the Muslim world.
Stressing that Iran considers the regional security as its own security, General Dehqan said, "Insecurity and chaos in the region affects security of others as well."
