RNA - Israeli police detained four young Palestinians, including three minors, from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiyeh, WAFA reported.
Soldiers also detained three people from the town of Azzoun in the Qalqilya area in the North of the West Bank, in addition to two from the Tulkarm area and one from Beita, South of Nablus.
In a separate development in the West Bank, local people said Israeli forces installed a military checkpoint at the main entrance of a village in the central part of the occupied region on Wednesday evening.
Ahmad Shqeir, a resident of the village of al-Zawiya in the Salfit district, told Ma’an that Israeli forces were questioning residents, inspecting their IDs, and searching their cars at the checkpoint, causing traffic congestion.
Palestinian communities are routinely subjected to road closures by Israeli military forces for purported "security reasons," an act which rights groups have denounced as amounting to collective punishment.
