The Syrian army also continued its advances in other key provinces across Syria.
Hama
Syrian Army troops and aircraft targeted the movements and gatherings of ISIL and Al-Nusra Front (recently renamed to Fatah al-Sham Front) in Eastern and Northern Hama, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
The warplanes pounded terrorists' movements North of the town of Souran in Northern Hama, killing over 10 militants and destroying two vehicles.
In the meantime, the army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with terrorists in Syriatel checkpoint North of Souran, killing and wounding a number of them.
Meanwhile, the army soldiers stormed ISIL's positions along the oil pipeline Southeast of the village of Aqarib, killing a large number of them and destroying several military vehicles.
The army men also seized a vehicle of ISIL terrorists carrying a large volume of missiles and mortar shells on Ithriya-Wadi al-Azib road in Northeastern Hama heading toward ISIL-held regions.
Homs
Homs Governor General Talal Barzi said that the Syrian Army troops have managed to push back ISIL from more positions in Eastern Homs, advancing 27 km towards the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur).
Barzi told that the army troops could advance 30 km into ISIL-held territories along the al-Quaryatayn-Qasr al-Hayre al-Qarbi road, while other units of the army managed to advance 27km deep into the ISIL-held lands along the road connecting al-Mahatta al-Rabe'ah to Tadmur, reaching al-Bayareh's territories.
Barzi further added that the army has materialized all its military objectives in recent weeks.
He went on to say that the government forces are ready to continue anti-ISIL operation and take back the oil and gas fields in Eastern Homs.
Barzi added that the army has also inflicted major losses on Al-Nusra Front in the towns of al-Rastan, Talbiseh and al-Houleh in Northern Homs.
Dara'a
Syrian Army troops continued their advances against ISIL in Eastern Aleppo and could drive terrorists out of two strategic towns near the ISIL-held town of al-Bab.
The army soldiers stormed ISIL's defense lines East of the town of Sarhan and took back the towns of Abu Jabbar and al-Maqareh, inflicting major casualties on the terrorists.
The army troops managed to stop advances of the terrorists and carried out counterattack against Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at to take back lost positions.
The army has driven terrorists out of the entire entrances of al-Manshiyeh, Sajineh, Hamideh al-Taah and Busra square.
Field sources said that a number of ambulances of the terrorist groups have been dispatched to the battlefield to take away the injured to militant-held regions.
Reports said earlier on Monday that the army troops repelled a large-scale offensive of al-Nusra Front on government forces' positions in the Southern city of Dara'a, killing 20 terrorists including their emir.
The army soldiers fended off Nusra's attack on their positions in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood, killing 20 terrorists and wounding tens more.
Nusra's Field Commander Abu Rayan Ordoni was amongst the killed terrorists.
Nusra's bomb-laden suicide vehicles were also destroyed in the failed attack.
Aleppo
