RNA - The army units won back a strategic region to the North of Alab Tayas hills in Homs province.
Scores of terrorists were killed and injured as the army was purging them from the newly captured areas in Homs province.
The Syrian army, popular forces and resistance forces also continued their military gains in other key provinces across Syria, inflicting heavy losses on them.
Homs
Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL near T4 military airport in Eastern Homs, taking control over a key region.
The Syrian soldiers backed up by the army's artillery and missile units and aircraft, stormed ISIL's defense lines near the Fourth Station and al-Tayas hills and could manage to take back the region of the Third Katibat al-Mahjoureh to the North of Alab Tayas hills.
The army men also attacked ISIL's positions along the road connecting al-Naseriyeh to al-Quaryatayn between Eastern Damascus and Southeastern Homs, finding access to the surrounding areas of Tal (hill) al-Zaba'a al-Sharqi after killing tens of terrorists.
The Syrian fighter jets carried out several combat sorties over ISIL's positions in al-Sha'er oilfield and near Hayan oil company.
The warplanes also pounded ISIL's concentration centers in al-Barada region to the East of al-Quaryatayn.
Deir Ezzur
Syrian Army troops continued to beat back ISIL terrorists from more key positions Southwest of Deir Ezzur, paving the ground for the removal of terrorists' siege on the city's military airport.
The army men, backed up by the Syrian and Russian fighter jets, stormed ISIL's positions in Deir Ezzur's cemetery, taking control over several key positons in the region that connects the city to the besieged airbase.
In the meantime, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets pounded ISIL's movements and gatherings near Deir Ezzur's cemetery, the al-Ma'amel region near al-Tamin Brigade, Jonayd Division and al-Thardah mountain.
A field source, meanwhile, said that over 30 ISIL terrorists killed and an arms depot and three bases of terrorists were destroyed in the army's artillery and air attacks on ISIL's positons in al-Thardah mountain, Ayash warehouses, East of airport, Northwest of Tal (hill) Borouk, and the neighborhoods of al-Orfi and al-Jabiliyeh.
Reports said earlier on Sunday that the army men engaged in an intense battle with ISIL in Deir Ezzur's cemetery, while the Syrian and Russian fighter jets pounded terrorists' gatherings and movements in the cemetery and Jonayd division to lift militants' siege on the city's airbase, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.
The Syrian warplanes carried out several night attacks on the concentration centers and bases of ISIL in the neighborhoods of al-Huweiqa, al-Kanamat, al-Arzi and al-Mohandeseen, near the airbase and in the village of Marat, near the Koniko region in Khasham town's Badiyeh (desert) in Eastern Deir Ezzur, killing and wounding a number of militants and destroying their equipment.
Damascus
Syrian Army troops struck ISIL's concentration centers in the mountainous regions of Northern Damascus, capturing several heights and killing or wounding 25 militants.
The army men hit ISIL's positions hard in al-Qalamoun mountain and managed to take control over several hills in the Eastern part of the mountain after hours of non-stop clashes.
A field source said that the ISIL left behind over 25 dead or wounded members and pulled the remaining pockets of its forces back from the battlefield towards al-Barada region in Homs province.
The source further added that the army soldiers will attack ISIL's bases in al-Barada region from two directions after the army's recent advances in Northern Damascus.
Also the army troops targeted heavily the gatherings and movements of terrorist groups in different parts of Damascus province on Saturday, killing or wounding tens of militants and destroying their equipment.
The army men hit terrorists' concentration centers in al-Kasarat al-Manqoureh region, destroying a number of militants' vehicles and killing a number of their crew.
The army troops also targeted a vehicle of a group of terrorists in the region of al-Maramel al-Hamra in al-Qalamoun al-Shaqi mountain, killing the entire militants in the vehicle.
In the meantime, the Syrian forces targeted terrorists' strongholds in al-Qati'eh mountain, killing at least 10 militants and wounding several more.
The army's engineering units carried out mop-up operation on al-Naseriyeh-Tadmur road to pave the ground for the government forces' advances against terrorists in the region.
Aleppo
Media sources disclosed on Sunday that the ISIL has started pulling forces back from the town of al-Bab simultaneous with Syrian Army's advances in the Eastern parts of Aleppo province.
The Turkish language Hurriyet daily disclosed that ISIL has started retreating from the town of al-Bab after its positions in Eastern Aleppo came under massive attacks by the Syrian soldiers and Ankara-backed militants.
The Turkish army and Ankara-backed Euphrates Shield Operation's forces have failed to capture al-Bab, while the Syrian soldiers could manage to take control over 25 villages, towns and heights near the towns of al-Bab and Deir Hafer in recent days.
Hurriyet quoted Turkish military sources as saying that ISIL members have left their positions in al-Bab and have moved their command centers to the town of Tadif to the South of al-Bab, planning for full withdrawal from al-Bab.
The Syrian army troops seized full control over a strategic town East of Aleppo province on Saturday.
The army units engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL in the morning and finally freed the town of al-Brij at around midday, inflicting a number of casualties on the militants.
A field source said that the army plans to continue advance towards the town of Aran after the liberation of al-Brij.
He further added that liberation of the towns of Touman, al-Sheikh Den and Deir Qaq is atop the agenda of the army soldiers.
"Terrorists will come under siege in the Southern towns of al-Sheikh Den and al-Moshayrefeh once the army captures the town of Touman," the source continued.
Tartus
Media activists disclosed that a large number of Russian-made armored vehicles have arrived in Tartus port and will be soon delivered to the Syrian Army.
The activists released several images in social networks showing several groups of the Russian armored vehicles of Vodnik in Tartus port in the Mediterranean Sea.
The activists also said that the Syrian army will receive the Russian armored vehicles soon.
Military journalists underlined that deployment of high-speed Vodnik armored vehicles along with T90 tanks will help the Syrian army in the war on terrorism.
The Arabic desk of massdar news said it seems that these armored vehicles have been imported to equip Faylaq al-Khames forces that were formed by the Syrian army and Russia's full military back up.
