RNA - "Tehran and Moscow are after resolving the crisis in Syria since they want political and field tranquility in the region which will undoubtedly start from Syria," al-Aboud told on Saturday.
Stressing Iran and Russia's major assistance to Syria in the fight against terrorism, he said, "The Syrians welcome their allies' views to build their country's future."
"Moscow is Damascus's strategic ally that is trying to reach a solution appropriate for the Syrian society as the Islamic Republic of Iran acts the same way," al-Aboud said.
On January 23 and 24, negotiations on the situation and peace in Syria were held in Astana. As a result of the meeting, Iran, Russia and Turkey agreed to create a tripartite mechanism of monitoring the ceasefire regime in the country.
Representatives of the Syrian government and opposition groups participated in the Astana negotiations. It was the first time that a delegation from the Syrian opposition was formed solely of representatives of armed groups.
Special representative of the Russian President on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev announced on Thursday that the country's specialists prepared a draft of the new constitution for Syria and have given the draft to the Syrian opposition groups.
Lavrentiev said that the draft constitution was given to the Syrian armed opposition for study and is waiting for their reaction.
"I wish to particularly emphasize: we did it solely for the reason that we want to speed up this process and to give some additional stimulating impetus without intruding into the process of consideration itself and adoption of the constitution," Lavrentiev said.
