RNA - "All crises in the region could be solved by concentration on solid campaign against terrorism, diplomacy and national dialogue," Amir Abdollahian told reporters after meeting Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri in Beirut on Monday.

He pointed to his meeting with Berri, and said, "The two sides share common stance on political solution to the Syrian crisis."

Amir Abdollahian underlined that Iran believes that diplomatic solution is the sole way to settle the Syrian crisis, and said, "This issue should not make us neglect helping Syria in its ongoing fight against terrorists."

He reiterated that Yemen and Bahrain crises have also political solution.

Amir Abdollahian, heading a delegation, arrived in Beirut on Monday morning to consult and exchange views with the Lebanese officials on regional and international developments, specially Palestine.

In relevant remarks in early November, President Hassan Rouhani renewed Iran's resolve to fight terrorist groups, and said that all the world countries should join hands in the campaign against terrorism and extremism.

"We are at a historical point today that the region has a complicated situation and we need security," President Rouhani said, addressing the opening ceremony of the 22nd International Press Exhibition in Tehran.

"We do need deterrent power and powerful armed forces, military might and strong diplomacy, but at the same time we should remember that today's insecurity in our region could not be solved merely by weapons and diplomacy," the Iranian president added.
