Rasa - The Syrian army continued marching on the militant-held positions in several regions in Homs, and established full control over more strategic areas in the province.
Syria

RNA - Several militants were killed and injured in the fighting with the Syrian troops over strategic regions in Homs province.

 

The Syrian troops also inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in other provinces.

 

Homs

 

The Syrian army started large-scale military operations against the ISIL terrorists in the Eastern part of Homs province and managed to take control of several regions in the early hours of their offensive.

 

The Syrian army troops started their fresh military operations after pounding the terrorists' military positions with artillery shells and missiles.

 

The Syrian army managed to take control of several regions Northeast of T4 airbase and East of Station 4, killing and injuring a number of the ISIL terrorists as well as destroying several military vehicles.

 

The army units also pounded the ISIL's gathering centers and movements in Taloul Alab al-Tayas region Northeast of Station 4 in the Western part of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur), killing tens of the ISIL terrorists and destroying several of their military vehicles.

 

The Syrian fighter jets also hit the ISIL's gathering centers, supply routes and movements of the terrorists in Arak and Western Badiya in the surrounding areas of Sha'er and on al-Bardeh road in the neighborhood of al-Quaryatayn and in the surrounding areas of Palmyra city and al-Bayarat region in Eastern and Southeastern Homs province which resulted in the destruction of targets and inflicted heavy losses and casualties on the terrorists.

 

Meantime, a battlefield source announced that over 10,000 Syrian soldiers and National Defense Forces as well as Desert Falcons (Syrian army's special forces) are participating in the ongoing military operations.

 

"The main purpose of the operation is to take control of the oil and gas wells in Jazel, al-Shaer and Mehr regions and eventually seize control of ancient Palmyra," the source said.

 

The source went on to say that the Syrian army troops have already advanced three kilometers in the depth of the region North and East of T4 airbase.

 

Damascus

 

The Syrian government forces tightened their noose on Fatah al-Sham (previously known as al-Nusra Front) and managed to retake new regions after terrorists killed an army general who was a member of the reconciliation delegation.

 

Fierce clashes have resumed in several directions in the surrounding areas of the village of Ein al-Fijeh in Wadi al-Bardi region as the Syrian army's artillery and missile units hit the terrorists' military positions in the same region.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army units managed to take control of the strategic Ra'as al-Sireh region in the Northern part of Wadi al-Bardi overlooking Ein al-Fijeh and Deir Moqern.

 

The Syrian army also took control of vast areas in Deir Moqern region.

 

Terrorists assassinated Ahmad al-Ghadban, one of the coordinators of the Syrian reconciliation in Wadi Barada area in Damascus Province.

 

Local sources said terrorists shot dead al-Ghadban after he stepped out of a meeting with leaders of armed groups in Ein al-Fijeh village.

 

Deir Ezzur

 

The ISIL started a second phase of massive attacks against several military positions in Deir Ezzur on Sunday after sustaining defeat in the first stage and losing over 70 members.

 

The ISIL terrorists launched a heavy offensive against the Syrian army positions in Damascus-Deir Ezzur highway, Panorama square, Tal Barouk and al-Tharda valley and advanced in some areas.

 

The militants also cut the main road towards Deir Ezzur international airport.

 

Faced with ISIL advances, the Syrian and Russian fighter jets targeted their moves and gathering centers followed by a special operation by the Syrian ground force to take back lost lands.

 

Army officers say that the ground troops could liberate al-Ta'min Battalion region and regain control of the airport road.

 

Aleppo

 

Military sources disclosed that the Syrian army troops are through with logistical and military preparations for massive operations to capture two strategic regions Northeast of Aleppo province.

 

Army commanders said their forces are fully ready to seize back al-Bab and Deir Hafer regions in Northern Aleppo province.

 

Syrian army's large military convoys comprising tanks, armored vehicles, heavy missile launchers and artillery units have joined other Syrian army units in Northern Aleppo province to start their large-scale military operation against the ISIL terrorists.

 

The Syrian army soldiers and popular forces are waiting for a Centcom order to start a massive offensive to push back the ISIL terrorist group from al-Bab and Deir Hafer regions.

 

Quneitra

 

The Syrian army repulsed an attack by Fatah al-Sham Front in the Southern parts of Hazar village in Northern Quneitra, inflicting major damage and casualties on them.

 

The Syrian troops clashed with al-Nusra militants who were attempting to occupy one of the army's military positions in Hazar village, and warded off their offensive.

 

A number of terrorists were killed and wounded in the clashes, while their military grid sustained major damage.

 

Meantime, the Syrian army's missile and artillery units targeted the al-Nusra Front's moves and gathering centers in Tal al-Hamriya in the Southern parts of Hazar village, and inflicted major loss and damage on them.

 

Hama

 

The Syrian army troops managed to repel two separate powerful attacks by the terrorists on their military positions in Hama province.

 

The terrorists stationed in the suburbs of the town of Aqrab in the Southern part of Hama province and near Homs provincial border were trying to capture the areas under the control of the Syrian government troops, but the Syrian army and National Defense Forces (NDF) pushed the terrorists back after three hours of clashes and killing 25 of the militants.

 

Meantime, Fatah al-Sham Front stationed in al-Dalak and Aidoun villages in the Western countryside of the town of Salimeh who were preparing to kick off a fresh operation to come closer to the town and cut the Syrian army's aids to the country's Northern provinces came under attack by the Syrian army's artillery and missile units.

 

Initial reports said over 30 terrorists were killed and many more wounded in artillery and missile attacks, while a large number their military equipment and hardware were also destroyed.

 

Sweida                                                              

 

The Syrian army's missile and artillery units targeted and destroyed ISIL's strategic military base and operations room in Sweida province on Sunday.

 

Several field commanders of the ISIL were stationed in the terrorist group's operation room in the Northern part of Sweida province.

 

Over 45 ISIL terrorists, including senior commanders, were killed and wounded in the army's missile and artillery attacks.

 

Meantime, a sum of six military vehicles and arms depot of the ISIL terrorist group were also destroyed in the attacks.
