RNA - Witnesses said Israeli armored tanks patrolling the borderline area bombed with one missile and opened machine gunfire towards the location, causing financial damages to the site, WAFA reported.

There were no reports of injuries, however.

The Israeli military claimed that the bombing came after Israeli infantry troops came under fire from the Palestinian side near the border fence with Gaza.

Israeli bulldozers also crossed the borderline East of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent said that four military bulldozers crossed the borderline and carried out earthworks near the border fence.

The military vehicles entered the Palestinian side of the border through a gate near Israel’s Sufa military post.

Israeli forces infiltrate the border with the Gaza Strip almost on a daily basis.
