Rasa - Yemeni army and Popular Committees forces managed to break down a major advance by the Saudi-led forces towards Al-Madfoon region in Nahem province, a military source said on Wednesday.
RNA - Accordint to the source, Saudi-led forces launched their Wednesday offensive, the seventh in a row, towards the area under a heavy aerial support by the Saudi air force, however the were not able to make any advance, Al Masirah reported.
The source emphasized that the Yemeni military has inflicted heavy losses on the Saudi-led forces who left the bodies of their comrades while they retreat.
Saudi Arabia began its military aggression against Yemen in late March, 2015 in a bid to restore power to former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
