He reiterated that the enemies' efforts to create obstacles for Iran are doomed thanks to the leadership of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
In relevant remarks in late October, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani warned the Muslim nations against efforts by the global arrogance to sow the seeds of discord among Muslim nations in a bid to guarantee the security of Israel.
"Hegemonic powers are making attempts to create divisions in the Muslim world to distract the public opinion from the main enemy that is the Zionist regime," Shamkhani said.
He went on to say that Takfiri terrorism is a threat to the security of all Muslim nations and humanity.
"Saudi Arabia is the birthplace and promoter of the Takfiri ideology," Shamkhani added.
He reiterated that the ISIL and other Takfiri terrorist groups are inspired by Wahhabism which is widely preached in Saudi Arabia.
