RNA - A man hurled an anti-Muslim comment at a woman before throwing her phone and snatching her hijab in Brooklyn, police said Wednesday.

The 22-year-old victim was driving on Avenue C near Ocean Parkway in Kensington on Nov. 14 when Michail Isakharov, 40, called out from his car, “Muslims are not supposed to be driving!” authorities said.

The victim snapped a quick photo of Isakharov — but he snatched her phone from her hand and threw it, cops said. Then he grabbed her hijab off her head and took off in his car, officials said.

Isakharov, who lives on Ocean Parkway near Crawford Avenue and is originally from Uzbekistan, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime and criminal mischief in the third and fourth degrees.

He has six prior arrests — some for aggravated unlicensed operator offenses and others that were sealed, cops said.
