RNA - A train driver supposedly kicked off a 14-year-old for wearing a headscarf in the German district of Friedrichshagen in east Berlin.
The young girl told the police that she got on the train, which was going to the train station Friedrichshagen, at about 02:.35 p.m.
The driver asked the girl to get off via loudspeakers, as he would not allow anyone wearing a headscarf, the police reported on Wednesday.
According to the police, as none of the other passengers intervened or supported the young girl, she anxiously got off the train.
The train driver reportedly waited at the station, until the 14-year-old girl got off.The girl then reported the incident to an adult who filed a complaint. The state office of criminal investigation is leading the investigation.
A spokeswoman for the Berlin public transportation services (BVG) told AFP that they were checking video data from all possible trains, which is expected to last until Thursday afternoon.
