RNA - Israeli forces detained three Palestinians after ransacking their family homes in the Southern West Bank city of Hebron, WAFA reported.

In Bethlehem district, forces raided Aida refugee camp, detaining one Palestinian after storming and ransacking his family home.

Israeli troops detained two Palestinians from Qaladiya refugee camp, North of Jerusalem, and another Jerusalem resident was detained on Monday at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City.

The raids in the West Bank took place as local media revealed earlier that the Israeli authorities have recently started to build 140 housing units in Ramat Shlomo settlement in occupied Eastern Jerusalem.

According to Palestinian observers, the move by Israeli authorities is part of Israel’s plan to impose new fait accompli on the ground in order to eliminate any chance for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, Palestine Info reported.

These units in Ramat Shlomo settlement will be in five apartment buildings and will be sold to settlers.

Last week, The Israeli authorities also revived an initiative for constructing 500 new illegal settler units in East Jerusalem after the suspension of the project due to international pressure.
