A senior commander of Iraq's popular forces disclosed that the US, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE are behind Ankara's illegal deployment of military forces in his country.

"The alien countries, headed by the US, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are supporters of Turkey's aggression," Spokesman for Asaeb Ahl Al-Haq Battalion (one of the popular forces fighting alongside the Iraqi army) Javad al-Talibavi told FNA on Monday.
