Hashd al-Shaabi took control of Varta and al-Salam villages to the North of Mosul.
The Iraqi volunteer forces also seized back al-Salamieh, al-Zaraeh and al-Hamireh villages to the East of the city.
Iraq's joint military forces still continue their advances in different flanks of Mosul city.
Hashd Al-Shaabi: Ankara, Barzani Helping ISIL Commanders Flee Tal Afar
Iraqi volunteer forces spokesman Ahmad al-Assadi disclosed that the Ankara government and President of Iraq's Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani are coordinating help to the Turkish-backed ISIL commanders to escape from the city of Tal Afar in Nineveh province.
"In coordination with Barzani, Turkey is trying to take part in Tal Afar military operation in order to achieve its specific goals in Nineveh in addition to helping senior ISIL commanders to escape Tal Afar," al-Assadi told FNA on Monday.
He said by supporting Barzani, who also leads the Iraqi Kurdistan Democrat Party, Turkey is seeking to achieve its specific goals, including helping ISIL commanders to flee Nineveh province.
Hashd Al-Shaabi Cuts off another Supply Road of ISIL to Tal Afar
The Iraqi volunteer forces (Hashd al-Shaabi) managed to cut a strategic supply route of the ISL terrorists in Tal Afar.
"The Iraqi volunteer forces have blocked most of the supply roads to the ISIL in Tal Afar and have prepared a strategic plan for attacking the center of the city," Hashd al-Shaabi Security Spokesman Yousef al-Kalabi told FNA on Monday.
He, meantime, pointed to Hashd al-Shaabi's capture of Tal Afar airbase, and said, "The Iraqi volunteer forces struck a heavy blow at the ISIL by seizing control over Tal Afar airport in an area of 16 to 18 square kilometers in a several-hour-long battle," al-Kalabi added.
He underlined that Hashd al-Shaabi forces have blocked the most important supply routes to Tal Afar airbase, and said, "Hashd al-Shaabi has taken control of 207 square kilometers of lands to the West of Mosul."
Iraqi Commander: US, Qatar, S. Arabia, UAE Support Turkey's Aggression against Iraq
A senior commander of Iraq's popular forces disclosed that the US, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE are behind Ankara's illegal deployment of military forces in his country.
"The alien countries, headed by the US, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are supporters of Turkey's aggression," Spokesman for Asaeb Ahl Al-Haq Battalion (one of the popular forces fighting alongside the Iraqi army) Javad al-Talibavi told FNA on Monday.
He also referred to certain West-affiliated political sides' collaboration with Turkey in Iraq, and said the expansionist policies of the Iraqi Kurdistan region's officials in Nineveh province have helped Ankara to prolong its intervention.
Talibavi, meantime, warned Turkey that in case of attacking the Iraqi forces in the Western parts of Nineveh, they will receive responses outside the battleground.
