RNA - "We deny receiving any weapons from Iran and underline that the Yemeni army has not received any military aid from Tehran," General Luqman said.
He underlined that the Yemeni army will continue to fight against the Saudi army, and said, "The Yemeni army has strategic deterrence power due to its high missile power."
General Luqman said that the big powers are well-aware that Iran is not interfering in Yemen by any means and the allegations on capturing Iranian ships carrying weapons to Yemen is a media hype in pursuit of Saudi Arabia's continued attacks on Yemen.
Yemeni forces continue to penetrate into Saudi Arabia in response to the Saudi aggression which has seen thousands of civilians killed by their airstrikes.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen since March 2015 to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 12,000 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
Despite Riyadh's claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
According to several reports, the Saudi-led air campaign against Yemen has driven the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster.
