RNA - "Iran's deterrent power is very destructive and the country's Armed Forces will give very rigid response to the enemies in case of making any aggressive move," General Salami said on Saturday.
The IRGC lieutenant commander said that the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic of Iran is in fact a combination of guidance, leadership and management inspired by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
"We are not concerned about any type of aggression as no one dares to choose the military option in dealing with Iran," General Salami added.
In relevant remarks in September, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh warned that Iran is always prepared to give a crushing response to the slightest aggression of the enemy, stressing that threat is his country's response to any threat.
"The Iranian armed forces are at a high level of preparedness to counter potential threats," Brigadier General Hajizadeh said.
He reiterated that due to the hard efforts made by Iranian experts and the vigilance of armed forces, Iran has a high level of security both inside the country and beyond the borders.
