RNA - The West is covertly funding and supporting terrorist groups in Syria order to institute regime change in the war-torn country, says an investigative journalist.
“Ever since the Vietnam, Guatemala invasions by the United States and the backlash that they had back in home and in the Western world discrediting them, they started using terrorists, [and] sponsoring terrorists around the world to do the dirty work for them,” Tony Gosling told in an interview on Sunday.
He went on to say the recruitment of the Daesh Takfiri terrorists has been done by Western intelligence services and Western Special Forces are being used to train them.
“Special Forces of the various nations’ armed forces, these are used because they do not come under proper parliamentary scrutiny around the European countries. They are often used to infiltrate countries and also they are being used right now - the British Special Forces for example - to train terrorists in Syria,” he stated.
Gosling further argued that Federica Mogherini may not be aware of what the policies of the United States, the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) really are in covertly sponsoring terrorism around the world.
The analyst further noted that the ones behind this policy of sponsoring terrorism are the arms manufacturers and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) who have more money and clout than the US State Department.
“The CFR is one of the most important policy making organizations and I am afraid Frederica Mogherini, however important she may feel she is, she is dancing to their tune most of the time,” he said.
Since March 2011, Syria has been hit by militancy it blames on some Western states and their regional allies. Backed by Russian air cover, the Syrian military is engaged in an operation to rid the country of Daesh and other terrorist groups.
Iran has been providing military advisory assistance to the Syrian government in its campaign against terrorism.
