RNA - Messages of hate were found Friday at place that serves as a sanctuary of peace for Muslims in Bayonne.

The hateful graffiti was discovered at the Muslim Miraj Community Center, which serves 100 Muslim families. It's a safe place for kids to come after school so they can pray and study.

Someone shattered that peace by writing hateful messages about Muslims and Allah right at the entrance to the center. "Really saddening though that stuff like that's happening," says Arhum Choudhry, a high school sophmore from Bayonne. "We're showing them love and respect. But stuff like that continues to happen."

Mayor Jimmy Davis says police arrested 20-year-old Jonathan Hussey in connection with the vandalism. Hussey faces several charges including bias intimidation.
