RNA - "The Syrian army is getting ready for a large-scale operation in Deir Ezzur," a high-ranking military source said, adding, "On Saturday, over 600 fresh forces were dispatched to Deir Ezzur, and tomorrow 1,000 more soldiers will be sent to Deir Ezzur battlefields in al-Thardah mountain."

"The fresh forces are equipped with modern weapons systems and equipment," the source added.

Reports said on Saturday that the Army has sent over 600 troops to Deir Ezzur to reinvigorate its combat capabilities against the ISIL in the Eastern province.

Syrian military helicopters took over 100 soldiers from Qamishli in Northern Raqqa to Deir Ezzur province.

In the meantime, over 500 army soldiers left their positions in Qamishli and moved towards Deir Ezzur through land routes.

These 600 soldiers would join their comrades in government-held regions in Deir Ezzur and they would be used in defense or combat operations across the Eastern province.
