RNA - "Iran enjoys the deepest range of cultural, political and religious predominance in the Islamic world," General Soleimani said on Friday, addressing a ceremony in Hamedan province in Western Iran.

He reiterated that Iran is the most powerful and most secure country in the Middle East.

In relevant remarks in late August, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari underlined the Iranian Armed Forces' preparedness to repel any threat, and said Iran is the most secure country.

The Iranian military and security forces have well been able to contain foreign threats as the country enjoys security and power despite the existing dangers in both the world and the region, General Jafari said, addressing a gathering in Hamedan province.

He further underlined the importance of keeping military and defense forces prepared, and said that Iran has turned into a role model of security for other countries and it is the most secure country that no one is able to do anything against its security.

His remarks came after the Iranian intelligence ministry announced in a statement in August that the country's security forces have traced and captured the remaining members of a recently busted terrorist group in Western Iran.

"Other members of the recently busted Takfiri terrorist cell in western Iran who were at large, have been arrested in Kermanshah province in Western Iran," the intelligence ministry said.

The ministry's statement read that following the first blow to the Takfiri team on August (15-16), the rest of the Takfiri terrorists were arrested on Thursday (August 18). The ministry noted that a significant amount of arms, bomb making equipment, suicide vests and explosive belts were discovered from the terrorists' hide-out.
