RNA - The Syrian army killed and wounded scores of terrorists in the Southern territories of Deir Ezzur province.
The Syrian army also inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist groups in other key regions across Syria.
Deir Ezzur
The terrorists sent tens of bomb-laden cars towards the walls of Deir Ezzur airbase but the Syrian forces destroyed all of them.
Clashes between the Syrian army and the ISIL terrorists near al-Tharda mountain in the Southern parts of Deir Ezzur airbase continued on Tuesday, leaving dozens of terrorists dead and wounded.
Also the Syrian and Russian fighter jets bombed the ISIL positions in al-Baqilia, al-Hosseinia, Huwaija Kate' and al-Janinah villages in the Northwestern parts of Deir Ezzur and Hatla in the Eastern parts of the city, killing and injuring tens of terrorists.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Syrian army units along with their allies advanced in al-Sana'a district in the Northeastern parts of Deir Ezzur, retaking full control over several blocks in the region.
A military source in Deir Ezzur said that the Syrian military forces regained control of several buildings after severe clashes with the ISIL at the gates of al-Sana'a district and destroying a tunnel used by the terrorist group to transfer light weapons and forces, killing all the militants inside the tunnel.
The source added that tens of terrorists were killed during the operations in Deir Ezzur as the militants couldn’t prevent the army's advance in al-Sana'a despite the little number of the Syrian soldiers.
Idlib
Nearly 70 members of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) defected the terrorist group in Southern Idlib, field sources said.
The militants were trying to flee towards the Eastern parts of Hama to join the ISIL but they were arrested by Fatah al-Sham security forces in Southern Idlib and were transferred to prison, the sources said on Tuesday.
Aleppo
The Syrian army and popular forces repulsed massive attacks by the terrorists to occupy the Southeastern parts of Aleppo.
The Syrian and resistance forces then gathered intelligence on the militants' positions in the housing project 1070, al-Rashedeen, al-Jabs market and near the military academy and attacked them with artillery fire.
Also nearly 100 militants were killed during the operations.
Damascus
The Syrian army resumed special operations in Damascus province after declaring the end of ceasefire, killing dozens of terrorists in Jobar.
The Syrian army forces carried out missile strikes against the positions of Fatah al-Sham Front in Eastern Ghouta which resulted in killing and injuring a number of Takfiri terrorists inside the town of Jobar.
According to a battlefield source, after the army attack with ground-to-ground missiles, the army soldiers managed to kill at least 15 militants near the Electricity Foundation building in Jobar.
Meanwhile, the ground units of Syrian army attacked the defense lines of Fatah al-Sham Front inside the town, destroying their hideouts and weapons.
Hama
A Syrian army unit killed more than 25 terrorists of Jeish al-Fateh in the Northern parts of Hama province after the termination of the truce period in the country.
The Syrian army soldiers repelled an attack by the terrorists against the military posts in the village of al-Kabbaria, North of Ma'an, a field source said on Tuesday.
The source added that more than 25 terrorists were killed and three of their vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns along with a bulldozer were destroyed.
