Rasa - Media and information dissemination minister of the ISIL has been killed in an airstrike on the terrorist group's military positions in the city of Raqqa, media reports said.

RNA - Abu Mohammad Forqan, a notorious ISIL commander who recently became the terrorist group's information minister, was killed in Raqqa city and only few days after ISIL Spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani was killed.

An informed local source told the Arabic-language media that Forqan was the founder of ISIL's security organization in Raqqa city.

The source noted that Ali Mohsen al-Shavakh, nom de guerre Abu Luqman, will probably replace Forqan.

In late August, the ISIL's media sources said that ISIL’s Spokesman and number two man Abu Mohammad al-Adnani has been killed in Aleppo battlefields.

Abu Mohammad al-Adnani was killed in Aleppo battles,” ISIL-affiliated Amaq news agency announced but did not mention who was responsible for his killing or whether he was killed in an airstrike or in a ground attack.

"Al-Adnani in a video in 2014 affirmed his allegiance to Leader of the ISIL Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He was the first person who announced Nigerian Boku Haram’s allegiance to al-Baghdadi,” Amaq said.

“He was appointed by al-Baghdadi as ISILI’s spokesman last year,” the source added.

Al-Adnani had a $5 million US Department of State bounty on his head – the second biggest for any ISIL official after the group’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

Known for his aggressive, florid speaking style, al-Adnani sought to inspire recruits and lone wolf attackers in the West, and his calls to arms were often cited by ISIL adepts.

Western media also reported that he was the head of a special intelligence unit, responsible for planning complex terrorist attacks in Europe.

It is likely to be another major blow to the ISIL after the Takfiri terrorists lost their top military commander Abu Omar al-Shishani, known as Omar the Chechen, earlier this summer.
